Man you just seem SO big these days that the reality of you being almost one is making sense. You just have so much happiness and joy that we just can’t get enough of!

Sleeping wise – some nights are great some nights you are up a time or two. I won’t let you nurse if you wake before midnight because I know you don’t need it then. I’d say usually I can count on you to wake up around 3AM and then at 6AM but then you still always go back to bed until around 7:30AM. Napping wise, you usually go down for your first nap around 9:30-11ish and then we try to hold you off until 2pm if possible and she usually gives us a real good nap. She is SO nosy that she will not fall asleep if not in her bed. Will give in in the car maybe – but then wakeup the second it stops. she will not sleep at church. Doesn’t really want to snuggle in the mornings like you used to and it makes me sad.

Eating – You eat absolutely anything you can get your hands on. grunt at us if we aren’t feeding you fast enough. Love cheese sticks, blueberries, bacon, rice husks, want all the protein you can get your hands on. Eat whatever we are eating for supper. Very good fine motor skills picking up little pieces off your tray starting to think you are too good for baby food. Still loves to nurse and just soaking up the time with you. nice I don’t have to make as much milk because you eat so much. End of the month started taking a bottle really good.

We think you have got to be close to crawling, but still not happening yet. You do find a way to scoot, roll and move to what you are wanting. zero interest in us trying to make you walk holding our fingers. Will pull herself up on her knees. still loves playing in the dollhouse the most. happy in the walker outside and kind of moving around. Wearing 9 months clothes some 9-12 months. have you in size 4 diapers because that’s what is on hand but they are a little big. Still great about wearing headbands, get those shoes off sometimes, but good about leaving your booties one which is nice since it is winter. Hair is starting to grow longer and the light brown color all the rest of them have. sigh – was hoping for a blondie or dark brown kiddo!

Smile with your teeth off centered but it couldn’t be cuter. fake laugh, dad said she’s seen you waving. Loves to play peek a boo and chase. Says dada. very content to watch your siblings and sit on mom’s lap. Not really a fan of the dogs since you got scratched. All of a sudden scream if in the shower and not being held. Ear infection AGAIN this month – this one I think from a cold tried a 3rd different antibiotic. Lots of chatter and yelling while you play. Find every little thing (mainly your sister’s ponytails) and put them in your mouth. Loves phones and remotes! Loves going for walks in the stroller.
