Faye 1st Birthday Party

We could not have got a more perfect day to celebrate our little tulip gal! The tulips were up and ready at the beginning of the week because of such warm weather. We spent Saturday finishing up decorations and cleaning the house and it was one gorgeou weekend!

Since our sweet gal was born the day the tulips bloomed, it was a no brainer to me that it had to be the party theme. I started early on decorations knowing that we had a busy week. thankfully it was all super easy and not things that had to wait until the last minute like if i do a balloon arch.

We made our “famous” homemade pizzas and that actually worked really well. just did a few easy sides people brought, cranberry stone cupcakes which were a massive hit, and birthday cake macarons were a must! Grammy did her well loved homemade ice cream and it was def our most least stressful party. We love great weather days because everyone was outside.

Dad said this was the LAST party so i told family to soak it up because it wouldn’t be happening again.

We are now 0/4 on cake smashers… lame! you were pulling the cutest faces not sure about us singing to you at all! Def our most shy baby we have.

I begged on the invite for no presents… but obviously that didnt happen. at least the heeded to my request for things that weren’t toys. And the two toys she did get from grammy’s were a big hit. Grammy gave her her crocheted blankie and made a pretty tulips one too! Lots of outfits from nana and aunties, and aunt Georgina got her a new book, toy, and paci clip.

Sunday ended up being HOT. But Aunt Heather came through with a slip n slide as a gift. The kids had an absolute blast on it and Faye was happy to take a much needed nap while they squealed outside!
