Our sweet baby – we around just straight soaking up this last time of going through the newborn stage. You could not be a more loved little boy!! This house can’t get enough of you and we are suggling you up.

Sleep it good! You usually sleep with your mom and when you do you sleep for hoooours. You do sleep well in the rock n play too and usually give me one 3 hour stretch a night. During the day you are getting consistent about napping in it which has been a huge freedom for mom. Otherwise you nap fabulous with a contact nap or in the wrap. You do NOT want to be in or napping in that carseat. You have good awake periods and we are all obsessed with seeing your big blue eyes.

You had to get your lip tie and buccals cut because your lip tie was very bad. We got that cut at 10 days and i do feel like it made your clicking not near as bad while nursing, you still don’t have the tightest latch of all babies…but you nurse fine and we are thankful that it is going great! You love to eat – but aren’t near as much of a cluster feeder as your older brothers. you are fine to wait the 3 hours between feeding. Haven’t had a bottle yet but may need to have you try that soon to see how it goes, i just don’t want to pump! You hate pacis like Faye did – but believe me we are dead set to force you enough that you take them like we did with her 😉 we’ve tried 4 different styles and you are very good at not approving of any of them.

Starting to fill those newborn clothes but thankfully you are still a teeny guy like Duke was and we will get more life out of them. Aunt Mo gave us hers to borrow which was nice and their are some cute ones and we love you in blue and how great it looks with your blue eyes, dark complexion, and black hair. Won’t buy more NB diapers but still fit in those just fine. You have great normal pee output and like your siblings before poop once a day tops and when you do it is a TON. we are thankful you haven’t peed on us in forever and even tho you hold you poop you don’t really blow out diapers.

So much talk about who you look like. Mom and Dad usually say Wyatt or Faye, but the general public ALWAYS say Duke. after looking at your photos with all the others at 1 month tho you look a ton like Duke and Betsey… so who knows but we do know you fit right in 🙂

All 4 of your siblings could not be more obsessed with you. All day they are asking to hold you and burp you. Your sister Faye is beyond obsessed and is a smuggler. i have to watch her like an absolute hawk. She will try to pick you up. have her face right in yours. head butt, she is jsut so in love and has no jealousy but girl is a little too much. so many kisses and holds and “HOLD!”

Your neck is getting stronger and you are making great eye contact by the end of the month and some lips curling up so hopefully smiling SOON! You like to be on the floor for around 10 minutes top. You don’t go on the floor unless everyone is gone so you don’t get trampled. We say you don’t really cry just whine. Love to grunt and make all kinds of noise

You got baptized at 4 weeks on the dot with Sage Grafke, your siblings sang Jesus Loves Me and uncle Brent showed you to the church. Besides church you haven’t been out much, but we know you will SOON be on the go at all time with April/May being crazy! We love you so so much, you were the missing piece to our family and we feel complete and ready to watch every second of you growing!
