It seems unacceptable for Boone to already have been here for a half of a year. Halway to 1. halfway to our last baby not being a baby. He’s so much joy I can’t even explain what a perfect missing piece to our family he is.

Still the best nurser who justs wants his mom – BUT the week he turned 6 months he chugged his bottles for both my mom and Crystal — maybe he finally will accept to do it and that mom will come back. I’d say he still probably only eats 4 oz a time, but he’s chunky and healthy and doesnt spit up so he’s just fine! Also is chill about if it goes a little longer than 3 hours. Always needs one burp after nursing and is good to go. if i hold him on his tummy after eating he will spit up. He also is known for tooting up a storm when i pull him out of his bed in the middle of the night and put my arm across his tummy. Hasn’t seemed interested in food at all so we haven’t even tried it because who has time for that. i put in whipped topping and mashed potatoes a time or two and he was okay with that… but didn’t want anything like a waffle or bread. We won’t push the eating but he does like sitting in the high chair.

Sleepwise he likes to be in his rock n play and not with mom anymore which kinda breaks my heart but is nice. He is usually waking up a time or two to nurse and then wants to go back to his bed. still usually 8-7ish for super loose sleeping hours. Napping he is becoming a great one. takes long naps and still needs that 3rd one around 5 so he can make it to night. likes long naps in his rock n play and will just take short ones if he is on mom or is on the go. but then will often make up for it with a 3 hour one when he gets home. We really just can’t complain about the sweet boy!

This child is an absolute maniac in the walker. never had one so obsessed. and goes forward- most of ours i felt like went backwards. he’s a hoot and so good at it and gets himself unstuck and can steer pretty dang well! He had dropped the mirror on himself a time or two but thankfully it kinda shoots him out and just scares him. Doesn’t sit up by himself yet but we also haven’t really worked on it much… oops. i think he’ll get the hang of it in no time tho.

He still continues to be as content and easy as they come. Never really fusses, happy to be watching the action, will be held by anyone, doesn’t get worked up about being on the go or changing up schedules. the most ticklish little booger, always watching us and smiling from far away. got his first puppy Smoke this month and likes to watch him move around. is a teething machine but doesn’t whine one bit about it just puts everything in his mouth and loves his paci beads in his mouth for his sore gums. but again – would never know because he barely whines a bit. Moves all over the floor and grabs at anything thats above him on the mat. Loves to be in the stroller and go on walks. Enjoys the jolly jumper when we put him in it.

Wearing mainly 6 months now and trying to get these size 2 diapers used up so we can move onto 3.
