Begging these last 4 months of Boone as a baby to SLOW down but i know they won’t. What a joy you are. Just the best thing we ever did. i think i sy it every time but i do not say it lightly. You have added so much to our life.

You did have your first roughish month. You got Covid or something rough and had a fever for like 3 days and weren’t yourself for a good 7 days. It was heartbreaking andwe missed out easy going content boy and hated you burning up. You did not nurse well at all during that week which is common for my kids when they are sick. def hurt my milk supply a bit but we got it back up with you getting back onthe nursing train. you did want to eat food at least when you were sick and did not want to be put down. We have been noticing you do not like to be left behind much or notice much more when we walk out of the room.

Eatingwise you love baby food but started to like real food and almost preferred it by the end of the month. willing to try anything – but not very good with super dry things. you loved mashed potatoes, mommy’s homemade butternut squash baby food, homemade ice cream ( and i was so scared it would hurt your belly).

Sleeping – well i maybe saw a little light at the end of the tunnel with you only waking up 2 times in the middle of the night. otherwsie….we are up to nurse a lot and not pleased when mom just tries to stick the paci in. you are busy and dont want to nurse as much during the day so you try to make up for it all night and mama is tired. but then again by the 5h baby it is no big deal, i know it is fleeting, and i love the cuddles. go to bed anwhere from 7 to 8:30 just depending on if you take a 3rd nap or not. usually sleeping until around 7. Consistent 2 naps a day and they are both usually pretty good ones. NEED to upgrade you out of the rock n play but i am lazy and you are over it. hopefully to the crib or a pack n play soon.

Very very content going with the flow. doesn’t mind the car, loves giggling at your hilarious siblings. VERY ticklish little boy and so many giggles when you are being tickled. Sitting well by the end of the month- but absolutely zero interest to move at all. Not interested in crawling or rolling around, likes to stand but not to have to do it by yourself. Always hitting your hands on the table while screaming, starting to clap when you see us doing it, loves to watch us and get everyone’s attention. Very very loved in his extended family also! Everyone fights over you at church wanting to hold you. We soaked up dad being on paternity leave and lots of extra time with him. Def a lot of teething and sucking/chewing on stuff but you really barely fuss.

He did go to the doc this month because of that sickness we were afraid he had an ear infection. we were ecstatic he didn’t and no antibiotics. He hasn’t been to the doc in months…. so it was nice to know he weighed ** which put him right in the middle of the pack of his siblings at that age. Wearing 6 months and 6-9 months, size 3 diapers, thankfully keeping his booties on now that it is getting cold out. Huge head like all the rest and we often think it looks like Max’s head with a big round one and a big forehead. hair is coming in fast now and is pretty dark, dark eyes – often hear he is a mix of his brothers.
