I’m trying to accept that our baby of the family isn’t going to be 1 but this last month has been a tough one because it is so obvious. We love love watching you learn no matter how hard it is to see a baby do it one last time in our family.

Sleep sleep. Man oh man we did NOT get much this month. Boone Stephen you are trying to kill me with sleep deprivation. you did redeem yourself a little the last two days of the month but otherwise… man we were up 5-6 times a night. you also had like a 10 day stretch where you would wake up just SCREAMING and we could not calm you down. you wouldnt nurse or go in your bed. we wouldjust have to be up with you for like 2 hours in the middle of the night. it was awful. but after one let you scream it out time – haven’t done it since. Napping tho goes very very well and you do them all in your crib and they can range from 1.5-3 hours. every day is different if it is 2 or 3 naps just depending on what we are doing.you also started every night off in your crib upstairs which is really nice for mom and dad.

and absolute terror in your walker – you zoom all around the house. pull everything off the benches, want in the fridge, help dad with the dishwasher, ram into anything in your way! You are so so close to crawling but still just know people will pick you up and you arent motivated enough to get to things. started to LOVE standing up against the couch and playing with toys while you do it.

We’ve really put you on full feed this month after your doc appt and you LOVE it. You are mainly a fan of meat – thats what we like! Chili, baked potatoes and spaghetti are your absolute faves but love all soups, chicken, pastas, yogurt,mashed potatoes crackers, candy, and ice cream. not always sure about fruits and not really a fan of puffs, def can get a little gaggy if you eat too much in your mouth at once. Still pretty much refuse bottles and will take mayyyybe 1 to get you through the day at nana’s and crystals. you do like your water cup and know how to drink out of a straw and when you see mom drinking her sparkling water you get very giddy. Still my sweet nursing baby who has no interest and stopping anytime soon.

You were sick and popping teeth a lot of the month so i think that was why sleep was rough. we are up to 6 teeth and we are just loving those 2 middle teeth and how they change your smile. You had your first christmas this year and i don’t think you touched the floor at De Ronde christmas and you take the chaos of Fopma christmas well. scream and grunt every time you poop so we always know when that is happening. Wearing size 9 but i either shove you in 6 or put you in 12 and you arent drowning. Size 3 diapers and your hair is starting to come in after a little hair trim. Loves to wave, clap when he sees other people do it, also loves to drum and pat the table. good at copy cat and knows his name when we are talking to him.

besides the sleep incidents – you are our chill content, happy to be along for the ride little brother and we could not get enough of you!!
