I truly don’t think i can sum up Faye Wilhelmina in a blog post. there is no one like her! She brings so much to this family we’ve never had – and i never want to forget a bit of it. in denial she ever has to grow up. in denial she is only 3 because she acts and keeps up with her siblings. she is so cool, so fun, and here is everything you need to know about the girl in 2026

Sleep wise Faye shares a room with Betsey and that goes super well – no issues with them in their bunk beds. Faye goes to bed the same time as her older siblings so usually 8:30 and she is a wildcard who can sometimes sleep in with Betsey and sometimes wake up early. She has a wait to wake clock that doesn’t turn green until 7. So sometimes she comes out right away sometimes not – she usually closed the door loudly but it doesn’t wake up Betsey. she will go see if her brothers have the tv on downstairs and happily watch there or will come snuggle in our bed. In the middle of the night she will have some times when she starts SCREAMING. and its always about something not a big deal… like she has to go potty, her blanket came off, etc….. never needs to be screaming, but that’s Faye! Nap wise she is still taking one every day – every once in awhile i will forget and then by the end of the night she is falling asleep or is cranky. She usually takes a 2 hour one beginning around1-2 but does depend on siblings needing picked up.

Eating – sister can EAT. she will eat and eat if you have it laying out. she isn’t too picky which i am ALWAYS so thankful Kyle’s genetics makes our kids eat everything. For breakfast she is all over the board depending on what everyone else is eating – could be cereal, waffles, toast, bagel, or granola bars. does like eggs too and her Sunday morning cinnamon rolls! Lunch we usually rotate around here between peanut butter and jelly, hot dogs, *** and she eats all fine. girl loves cheese sticks and yogurts with her lunch, eats ALL fruits and vegetables thrown her way. Supper her favorites i would say are *** she only doesn’t really like soups right now but if spoon fed will eat- haha!! girl thinks she loves dessert cause everyone else is eating it but she usually doesn’t finish her brownie or ice cream or whatever they have. Tho she will always finish her hot chocolate. if she hears me sneaking candy she goes “what you eating’ and expects some. Still our child that drinks the most and loves a milk sippy tho she only gets one if she reminds us she wants one. always wants a sip of mom’s “pop” and loves mom’s “salty” drink. no popsicle left behind is her summer mantra

Faye’s personality is unmatched in our house. she is as chill and quiet at they get – but when you do her wrong— the whole house knows about it. she loves to play quietly and entertain herself, yet if someone crosses her she melts downs and screams. we often say she is very De Ronde personality*** Makes the best faces with that dimple and those blue eyes. She loves to play in the dollhouse, kitchen, with her sink, reading her books,**** outside time she loves to be up at the garden with mommy, is becoming obsessed with the trampoline, loves 4 wheeler and ranger rides, loves to play mommy to her dollies with betsey, loves water tables and the sprinkler and chalk. Hasn’t figured out the bikes and trikes yet. Also loves being with other people . Always not sure about going to daycare but is a happy camper once she gets there. loves all the attention from her De Ronde cousins and them following her every step, loves going to nana and grammy’s and hates that she doesnt get to go there wednesdays since mom quit her job.

Talks very good for her age and can communicate what she wants. talks full sentences. Betsey is our translator – if we can’t figure out what Faye wants we asks Betsey what she said and she always knows. Betsey is usually a fabulous big sister and includes Faye and Faye loves it and they play together constantly. her older brothers are great big helps and if she is playing outside and wants something she knows if she goes to them they will help her. Her baby brother is the light of her life and she has spent this past year smothering him to death with love and affection. she can not contain herself. thankfully he usually loves it. Her puppy siblings are fine as long as they stay away from her otherwise we can have a few meltdowns about being carried so they don’t get her. She is obsessed with her daddy and her daddy is obsessed with her. always wants him to put her nigh nigh.

Was our easiest potty trainer at 2 years and 4 months which was shocking because of how stubborn she can be about doing things her way. show wise she likes Coco melon, and will watch whatever her siblings have one so she doesn’t have very many favorites because she never gets to pick. Does her lords prayer well and her prayer is the same every night but she has it down pat. Always making mom and dad laugh and giving us a few gray hairs because you are the only tantrum kid we’ve ever had. love to be out and about at the ball field, kids school, park. love taking baths or playing in mom’s shower and never want to miss one.

Wearing 3T pretty much all around because she is such a tall gal, she is our thickest – which isn’t saying much and is wearing size 9 shoes. hair is FINALLY starting to grow and i possibly gave you bangs because your hair was naturally falling like that but they are so cute and you often have 2 little buns with the back hair down or 1 top pony to keep your hair out of her face
