I truly want to make this post every year because the prices are so astronomical and i like to look back and see what they were 10 years ago…. when they were also astronomical. Big slide is still the biggest rip off. 4 bucks A PERSON for 6 seconds. give me a break. i also felt like i made a post every year… i hadn’t since 2022, oops!

This year we went on the first day which was new since I wasnt working – it was a way rainy start to the fair which is unusual. We got up there at around 7:30 but waited in the car for the rain to slow down. We headed in around 8:30 when it was lightly raining. it made it not as busy which was nice! We stayed to the buildings starting with the Ag building and the 4H building(one of our kids all time favorite places!)

We just did our own thing this year but then met up with Mitchell Natalie and Masyn and did Little Hands on the farm, the baby animal building and **** We then stayed and listened to a little bit of the concert before heading to sleep overnight at Uncle Mitch’s. they are always so accommodating and it works so well! They made us a yummy breakfast and mitchell dropped us back off at the fair – it was raining — again!

We only had the morning because Kyle had to get back to sleep and go to work – so we went back to 4H because Raegan and Jayde de Groot were doing working exhibits. We made a few more stops and ate some food. the kids always have lots of opinions now of what they want to see. Prices are outrageous but we were able to get the blue ribbon books again which does help a little.
