I always enjoy writing down what the kids are up to at this age because this is just when the fun explodes and just in awe seeing a baby turn into a little boy with lots to say and trouble to find!

Sleepwise you are awesome as all of your siblings at this age and go to bed at 8:30 and sleep until anywhere between 7-8 am. In the summer you were crazy and pulling mornings not waking up til 9-9:30. You are down to one nap and at first it was rough but now not going down to 12:30-1 is no big deal. we usually get a minimum of 2 hour nap at of you but sometimes can be 3+. You sleep with your paci and your blankie and we jut throw you in!

Eating wise you want WHATEVER we have. Your favorites are a granola bar and a sippy of chocolate milk in the morning, some of your favorites are apples, cheese sticks, all fruit, whatever homemade snack mom is making. Supperwise you love all meat and potatoes and usually still just eating off moms plate BECAUSE you drive me and your dad crazy and we have to give you food bite by bite. if we try to put your meal on your plate you will shove every bit of it in your mouth and you cant swallow it and you wont spit it out so slobber of it just comes out of your mouth and it is gross. so we get to give you like two bites on your plate at once and even then you’ll shove it all in. So hopefully you get out of this phase soon! You can hear me open candy or a sparkling water from a MILE away, love all desserts and want whatever your siblings have for food and will bug them until they give some to you. Still sitting in the high chair but maybe i should move you to table. When eating out only wants fries at this point. Loves milk like Faye and unlike the first 3. STILL nursing like 1 time a day and uses it as like a smoke break when he is tired and cranky and just wants a quick shot. i keep thinking its going to be over but then he comes to me pulling on my shirt.

Vocab is exploding just like it has all your siblings before you! Mama and dada loud as can be, BYE DAD whenever he leaves for work while waving, will copy whatever you hear your siblings yell like TOUCHDOWN, when we walk by the farm every day you are screaming TRACTOR and MEMI (semi), you sign and yell MORE and ALL DONE while eating. You are obsessed and adore your BUPPIES (puppies) and KITTY KITTY. working on your siblings names and can only say Wyatt kinda, but if we say their names you know which one we are talking about every time. say PAPA very clear when you hear the other kids yelling it. loves all BALLS and BUBBLES and BALLOONS just like his brothers.

Boone you are ornery as can be and we are obsessed with it and know it may be an issue for us in the future. Your goal is to do whatever you want and keep up with your siblings. if they are playing sports – you are right there with them expecting to get the ball thrown to them. Wants the football thrown to him, tries on the baseball glove, tries to swing the bat, shoots hoops on his little hoop and wants mom help with dunking outside, and likes kicking balls around. My full time job is keeping you off the kitchen table you are standing on hundreds times a day. He looooves to ready set go and run full speed into a bean bag, obsessed with being on the trampoline like the big kids. also loves to full send it backwards on there… you stress your mother out. Know how to scream and throw a fit when your siblings are bugging you and you want them to leave you alone. knows usually everything we are saying and runs and gets his shoes when it’s time to go, wants to put his diaper in the trash, if he hears me say yes to popcorn to a sibling he runs to the tupperware drawer to get the tupperware. he’s a hoot! loves to make up laugh, he laughs every time Kyle burps or farts. he likes being in the shower but going through a weird phase where he wants to keep his diaper on. he loves siblings back in school and more of mom’s time and attention. he gets dragged to a lot of sports and makes moms life pretty miserable at ballgames…being the youngest isn’t always fun! you are loved and adored by all your siblings and they love to get you out of your crib, carry you for me, help with whatever I ask, play with you and make you giggle, Faye is your anxious little mother always screaming at me if you are near the edge of the bed or standing on the table or doing anything dangerous she can’t handle watching. she still smothers him and will be his little keeper his whole life i fear. Knows when it is time to pray before we eat and folds his hands and closes his eyes and says amen and mumbles during the Lords Prayer. LOVES to wake daddy up from sleeping during the day and when he sees daddy for the first time in a day his face LIGHTS up.

Screams every time i bring him to nursery but only happens for like 1 minute and then he’s just fine. he doesn’t mind going to daycare at crystals but always sprints the second he see me pull up. loves to play with little cars, his stuffed animal dog Scottie, reading books because his siblings are obsessed, wishing to color like the olders, plays with the dollhouse and play kitchen. loves to be on moms’ hip watching whatever she is doing — the past 3 months really doesn’t let me get much done without holding him but i think we are slowly getting out of that. loves going on a walk every day with mom and being outside. LOVES his ranger and will often get on it hoping for a ride. Loves the 4-wheeler and any time he gets to ride. Still could care less about TV and can MAYBE get you to watch for like 10 minutes in the morning. Your poops smell SO nasty and we can always tell when you are doing it. loves to go play downstairs and where you are very happy to run around and see what all is down there for toys. love your mom and dad most and tolerate other adults. As you can tell you make our whole family’s world go down and you are the perfect angel baby boy and we say weekly how much joy we have going for that one more baby and completing our family with you!
