Wyatt’s 9 Month Update

I feel like I just got done writing the 8 month update and the 9 month update is here. everything is starting to run together of when he actually started new tricks so I am sorry if I repeat myself. Wyatt got his top two teeth this month and he’s still teething pretty good so I wonder if number 5 & 6 are close behind.

Wyatt’s appetite is gigantic. he eats 5-6 foods a meal and is still wanting more. He eats anything put in front of him and is starting to eat what we eat with some other nutritional foods that are his favorite. His favorites include cheese, toast, yogurt melts, meat, spaghetti, blueberries, & yogurt, but he will not turn down a single thing yet. Milk has slowed down to only when going to sleep or really thirsty. So with his lack of milk need and biting, I’m starting to wean him unfortunately. I just love nursing and will miss it, hopefully the rest of the babies I will go all the way to 12 months. We are just starting to take the sippy cup but will only give it a try if it has apple juice in it.

Wyatt is such a social little butterfly and loves to watching people and animals and is always looking around. He is getting the serious face down and sometimes makes people work for those smiles. Also noticed he’s getting some separation anxiety from mom. He claps on his own all the time when we say clap or yeah or start doing it ourselves. He is now getting down high fives, and is just so good with his hands. He walks with all the furniture and is just learning to stand by himself. Not sure if we’ll be walking by the wedding but he’ll be close. Fast crawler, loves to find trouble and keeps Mom (and Sargy!) on our toes.

Sleep wise Wyatt is still a total stinker. He thinks he needs that one bottle/nurse session at around 3 every night. And if he wakes up at midnight he will still wake up at 3 for another one and then he is usually up for the day around six but I do now have to wake him up for daycare, which is nice because then I can get ready before he is up and moving. Every once is a while if it his really tired out though he will sleep through the night. Still taking 2+ hour naps in the morning and afternoon for me and 30 minute on the dot ones at daycare… so ornery.

He’s got so much personality at talks our year off. He says “dada” all the time and “mom”. His belly laugh is to die for and we just love every second we are around him!
