I completely fell in love with scones in college when our coffee shop had them. I always got the white chocolate raspberry scone, but haven’t had one since college. When I was going through Magnolia Table cookbook I saw Jojo had a scones recipe. I adapted it to make it white chocolate raspberry and gave scones a shot. They turned out better than I could have imagined and were so easy and a delicious breakfast! Here’s what we did, the base of the recipe being Joanna Gaines with our touch:
Scone:
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
3/4 cup of sour cream
1/2 cup sugar
Glaze:
crushed raspberries
1.5 cups of powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3 Tbsp of melted butter
Such an easy recipe and they were SO good, we ate them all day long. Kyle really liked them and we loved eating them right away and they were just as good 5 hours later. Highly recommend and can’t wait to host a brunch or shower and make them for it!
